What LINX is
LINX is a peer-referral platform for luxury travel booking, fueled by sharable user-created adventure films.
The role
Lead engineer for the mobile app. You take LINX from web to first-party iOS and Android and own both store releases. Guests film in places with barely any signal, so the app has to keep working when the network does not.
What you'd own
- The mobile app. Expo and React Native against a Kotlin and Spring Boot API, on AWS.
- Workspace, auth, design system, universal links, analytics, the upload queue, push, and both store submissions.
Required experience
- Has shipped a functional app to the App Store or Play Store and can show it.
- Expo and React Native in production.
- AWS and cloud computing experience.
- Experience with large media uploads, ideally high-volume photo or video.
Preferred qualifications
- Ideal candidate takes initiative, plans ahead, is comfortable owning a large project, works quickly, is self-directed, and brings their own vision they can execute on.
- Ideally also familiar with Kotlin and Spring Boot.
